Fatal inertia was a decent game once you got the hang of it. but there just were not enough tracks imo and some of the ships art design leaved a lot to be desired.
I get my future racing fix from f zero gx(gc) on my wii at the mo. great game.
Although i would put f zero above wipeout just because of the faster pace i love wipeout games. This look like its gonna be special and racing online with this bad boy well thats some thing iv'e gotta experience can't wait whens the release date?
I for one think this is one of the greatest rpgs of all time up there with ff 7 even though there are a few technical issues. If anyone has played a better rpg this next gen i would like to know what it is.
Dlc is a must buy still playing threw my first time but i know i play this game again. monuemental!
I guess there is not really an excuse to not own a 360 now. Good to see ms sorting there s*** out. Roll on 2008. Any Ps3 owners that are looking to get a 360 i can highly recommend eternal sonata,lost Odyssey and Mass effect if you luv rpg's like me. The more the merrier.
A cheaper console is always good as means that more people can now afford the 360. but i hope it does not impact ps3 sales negatively as for the price you pay for the ps3 it is great value imo.
I know that Sony are already taking a big loss on each console so i don't think they will try and compete pricing wise. I just hope the the general public can see the benefits of having the ps3. Because i for one want the games industry to push forward with innovation and new tech allowing...

i have recently trade my 360 in and bought a new premium and the fan on the new one is a lot queter due to the the new drive. The cpu chips have also been reduced in size to 65nm.
I tested it out with a mate by playing though devil may cry on devil mode over the weekend. it took us 17.5 hours. But when i placed my hand on the console it was only slightly warm. needless to say i was pretty amazed.
As for the batteries i dont know what you mean ive got rechar...
Didn't know that loving a game on a system that happens to not be ps3 means i am a fanboy. What was i thinking i best just stick to unchartered,heavenly sword and Rachet and Clank and blind myself to the other consoles lol.

I can tell you that all these games are great with mass effect being one of the best games i have ever played. When it comes to variety 360 has alot more than ps3 currently. Maybe you should have a look at metacritic.com before making such a ludicrous statement.

I have to agree with him on this one. The reason i use my 360 more than any other console is really down to the live community. i have not used the ps3 online but without an intergrated friends list, voice chat, messaging etc etc online on the 360 would lack the character/personality that these functions bring.

This game has pushed the boundaries on what we expect from visuals in racers this gen and i for one applaud polyphony digital for its efforts so far. GT5 will be worth the price of a ps3 on its own for me atleast. Anyone played the game and can confirm what ingame not replays look like ...
I have to disagree although forza 2 has a lot of great features having now seen it on my HD tv i realise the limitations of the dvd format on the 360. I mean some cars look great but others look terrible with the jaggies and limited lighting.
I know that gameplay wise forza 2 is brilliant but i bought a next gen console partly for the visuals and for me Forza 2 is a let down in this department which does take away from the experience. The sound is also not great on it.
Well seems like the ps3 puzzle pieces are finally coming into place. After april there will be no need to wait anymore. Gt prologue and dualshock 3 means ill be £300 pounds lighter come april.

But software sales of dmc still show how dominant the 360 is be it acheivements,more hardcore gamers or generally a bigger user base.
I do wonder how many of 360's user base were ps2/gc owners last gen like me? Gonna be interesting to see what gt prologue/home do for hardware sales.
I really love the added sense of accomplishment that comes with getting achievements and for me it adds greater depth/life span to my games as i end up trying to complete them on harder settings just to get them.
I also hate them as even though iv'e finished a game it feels like iv'e missed something if i sell it with out completing the accessible achievements.
Overall though they have added another level to my gaming and means that i now get more for my money from ...
I think other 360 owners that pay for live like me would love for it to be free but pay for it because its a good service that pays for its self though the experience.
But i am excited with what Sony are doing with home and if the service is reliable and i can play all the games i want online then ill be switching to the Psn. Live is worth it as it stands but if Sony deliver all they promise for free then there really is no decision to be made.

Pc gaming is dieing out because most people like me don't want to spend hundreds of pounds each year just to play the lastest pc game. I mean there are mods but thats because there are only a few pc games to play a year but with consoles theres games coming out all the time so apart from downloadable expansion packs theres no need for anything else.

The wii and Ps3 have no need to cut their price. Both of them offer more then enough for the asking price. I intend to use my ps3 as a replacement for my laptop and my wii offers me an experience i can't get on any other console. Both also have blockbuster games coming out in the near future that will drive sales.
